Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

ModelDen (“we”) is a small demand-test website that recommends local AI models for your hardware. This policy explains exactly what we collect and why. We keep it minimal on purpose.

What we collect

  • Your email address — only if you choose to join the waitlist. We use it solely to (a) send one confirmation email, and (b) email you when our model-alert feature launches. Nothing else.
  • Anonymous usage data — which graphics card was searched, the use-case, which model was recommended, and which answer tier (benchmarked / estimated) was shown. This is not linked to your identity and contains no personal information.
  • A random anonymous IDstored in your browser’s local storage, used only to avoid double-counting visits in our funnel. It is not an account and not shared.

We do not collect names, IP-based profiles for advertising, or any special-category data, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Cookies & local storage

We store your selected rig in your browser’s local storage so we can re-answer instantly on your return. The admin area uses a single sign-in cookie. We use no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Email & consent

We use double opt-in: you only join the list after clicking a confirmation link. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and our sender identity. There is no pre-checked consent — you add yourself, and you can remove yourself anytime.

Email delivery is handled by Resend, which processes your address solely to deliver our messages.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. To request deletion of your email from our list, unsubscribe or contact us at hello@modelden.net.

Data retention

Anonymous usage data is retained for the duration of this test to measure interest. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe.
